Women’s Mountain Bike fitness rides
Join fun women to get those legs cranking and heart pumping on your mountain bikes. Sessions will have a planned workout, with options for intervals or over distance riding. These sessions are ideal for beginner to intermediate women interested in improving their fitness or working towards an early summer race. Mountain bike skills are discussed briefly but the main focus of these rides is fitness.
Season 1:
April 20th -JUNE 8th (8 weeks)
Mondays: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
April 22nd -JUNE 10th (8 weeks)
Wednesdays: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Cost: $85
Season 2:
August 19th-October 7th (8 weeks)
Wednesdays: 6:00pm to 7:30pm
Who: This program is for women ages 18+.
We’re in sync with Shifting Gears youth programming.
Locations may include: Carver Lake Park, Lebanon Hills, Sunfish Lake Park, Kinnickinnic State Park, Salem Hills, Battle Creek, Lake Elmo, Willow River and Rice Creek Chain of Lakes.
Weekly location schedule TBD
Participants must supply their own equipment (bike and helmet).
