Join us for a fantastic day of celebrating winter! There are so many ways to enjoy the winter months right in our backyard. We are so fortunate to have the outdoor recreation hub of Battle Creek on the east side. From cross country skiing to sledding, there are so many opportunities to get outside and enjoy winter at Battle Creek. Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast or just looking to try something new, grab your friends and family and join us Saturday March 1st for Winter Fest. An event celebrating some of our favorite ways to spend the winter months!
Cost: This event is completely free, so invite your friends, family, neighbors. The more the merrier!
Registration: No registration required, just show up!
Activities
Cross Country Skiing (Free trail passes, rentals and ski lessons)
Certified coaches will be on site to give mini learn to skate and classic ski lessons. All you have to do is show up excited to hit the snow!
Sledding: Sleds also available to borrow.

Glitter Station: Olympic Cross Country skier, Jessie Diggins, started the tradition of wearing glitter for her races to remind her of the fun of skiing. Get into the winter spirit with some glitter to brighten your day!
Ice Skating: A limited number of ice skates will be available for rental.

How to dress?
Start with base layers (long underwear or athletic top and pants)
